Welcome to Windows Phone Design Day and Workshop San Diego

Join us in this two day Windows Phone Design Day and Workshop event. This event is tailored specifically for designers and developers interested in crafting Windows Phone Applications using the Metro Design language. On Day 1 we will go deep into understanding Metro and the tools needed to design Windows Phone Applications. On Day 2 we will work together on your own app beginning with fun group creative brainstorming, sketching and storyboarding exercises and finishing with a Expression Blend prototype of your app.

The training is organized by San Diego State University in collaboration with Microsoft and Nokia

Target audience:
Designers and Developers interested in designing Windows Phone applications with the Metro Design language.

Prerequisites:
It is necessary to attend the Day 1 in order to participate the Day 2 workshop.

Tools:
For Day 2 participants need to have their own laptop with any type of visual design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Expression Design installed. Expression Blend and the rest of the Windows Phone tools are recommended for building your prototype.

Please note that the maximum attendee number for Day 1 is 75 and 50 for Day 2. Registration is done first come first basis.
